It’s important to note that the government health providers cannot manage to do all the work for instance they are able to generate the defaulters , high VL and late pharm pick but it’s the community based volunteers who work on the ground they know the community they interact with those people and in such situations they are able to track them so it’s only right that government considers them and puts them on a payroll
Government should be intentional about the health of it’s people and not rely on the funders with the US funding freeze it’s a wake up call to find other means of funding

Everyone has a role to play: 1. Government needs to find means of domestic resource mobilisation e.g secure a ppercentage of funds for HIV, add tax on things like alcohol and tobacco to create dedicated funds for HIV. 2. HCPs have to enhance service integration imbeeding HIV into primary health care, integrating adolescent HIV care in maternal and childheath activities. 3. Private sectors need to be engaged more to explore results based financing activities to enhance quality of care. 4. Communities/Families/Individuals need to be involved and engaged in the care, advocacy, sensitization and community peer supporters utilizing data.
