Building Consensus to Address Very Young Adolescents’ Sexual and Reproductive Health: A Guide to Planning and Hosting a Technical Consultation

There has been a growing awareness that very young adolescents (VYA) aged 10-14 are a neglected and hidden population in terms of sexual rand reproduction health (SRH). This document serves as a resource for designing and conducting VYA consultations, based on our experiences organizing such events. Many of the examples are drawn from national consultations held in Uganda and Nigeria in 2013, and regional/global consultations held in Senegal and Ethiopia.
