The PATA 2022 Summit aligned to the newly formed Global Strategic Alliance to end AIDS in Children by 2030 was titled Ending AIDS in Children, Adolescents and Young People – a Roadmap to 2030. The theme of the Summit called on us to unite to: Do it Right, Do it Together, Do it Now! The summit saw a total of 1704 participants attending from across 32 countries through a virtual online hub and connected remotely through in person attendance at one of the 29 in country satellite across Africa. This event offered a platform for health care providers to share experiences and models, and promoted dialogues and peer-to-peer learning among health care providers, community partners, networks of YPLHIV and policy representatives, with the aim of improving paediatric and adolescent HIV treatment and service delivery in sub-Saharan Africa.
